Today Todd is flying to Ohio for the weekend. That's pretty cool. And weird -- weird because I'm strangely calm about it. Weird because he'll be flying 1000 miles away on his own. We leave for the airport in an hour. He is so excited to see Chelsey, to go to prom with her, and to see his Ohio friends and family (the Ladle's) again. He has been counting down the days. And now, here it is. Today. In an hour.
Picture this... beautiful, sunny, warm, slightly humid day in early May, kids laughing, great friends hanging out, eating good (albeit slightly burned) BBQ... that was my day today and it was fabulous!
Well, lets see, I'm the wife of a great guy (who, in my opinion, is equally blessed to have such a fabulous wife) and the mom to two awesome kids.
I'm a nurse, have been for 20 years in the Medical-Surgical Care area; heading back to college in March to stretch my brain.
I love crafts, particularly scrapbooking. And I'm taking the leap into photography, for my own enjoyment, of course. Taking pictures has a whole new meaning now that I'm learning about aperture settings, ISO, shutter speed, etc. and I'm starting to venture away from automatic mode on my sweet camera.
